Introduction to Service Pack 7.1.900
This feature pack will update all versions of 7.0 Nobeltec Navigation Software
products (VNS and Admiral) to version 7.1.900.

Support for the new InSight Sounder. The new Sounder is available with a wide range of transducers. See
www.nobeltec.com <http://www.nobeltec.com> for more information.
Improved Mark Handling. You can now set all user marks to be "locked" by default. Also, the associated text with each mark can be locked, so that it is not accidentally dragged across a chart window (when you intended to drag the mark itself.)
Right Mouse Click in NavView. This button is now always available onscreen.
NavView Horizontal Splits. Two new horizontal view types are now available from the View Manager in NavView.
Reset Cross Track Error toolbar button. A new toolbar button is available, called the Reset XTE toolbar. When this button is clicked, the cross-track error is reset to zero.
Fleet Manager Functionality is now available with Nobeltec Admiral software. See SkyMate.com for more information about tracking your fleet using Nobeltec software.
Feature Unlock Codes. With this release, Radar, Sounder, and Fleet Manager functionality is now available without a separate CD. Prior to this release, Radar functionality was accessed by installing a Radar CD. With 7.1, an unlock code is all that is required to unlock radar, sounder, and fleet management features. Major Bug Fixes and Enhancements
v7.1.900 - partial list, focused on top items in terms of severity and priority
1. Chart Orientation options (North Up, Course Up, Leg Up) now appear under a "Chart Orientation" menu item. This is available from the View menu as well as the right click menu over a chart window.
2. The "North Up" toolbar has been renamed "Native Up", to better reflect its purpose, which is to orient Skewed Raster charts in their native orientation.
3. 3.Fixed problems with entering permit codes when you have both a dongle and a serial number entered.
4. Fixed issue where NavView panes (when duplicated) aren't properly refreshing.
5. Fix problem with the numeric keypad in the deviation table grid not displaying the character that was typed in.
6. Fixed crash in PlanBook printing (when multiple prints are being sent to printer)
7. Changes to the way we email crash logs in an attempt to be more compatible with all of the various email programs.
8. Fixed issue where wrong mark is occasionally deleted if PlanBook is open.
9. Fixed crash where a byte of the stack was being overwritten for Garmin GPS transfers.
10. Repaired problem where CTS value not resetting in NavView
11. Fixed issue where changes in Configure Autopilot/Output Settings do not Enable Apply Button
12. Performance improvements for GlassBridge Network chart sharing.
13. Fixed a resource/memory leak in weather functionality.
14. Fix to issue where MTW, CPT, and DBT sentences were being enabled without user request.
15. Ensured that proper Planbook Columns are printing when requested.
16. Added newer depth alarm sound .WAV file
17. Fixed PlanBook date-time departure, which was being reset to both short date format instead of short date for date and time for time fields
18. Various spelling and punctuation fixes.
19. Fixed issue where F9 and Ctrl-I were not being handled when the Fleet Manager dialog had focus.
20. GPS Transfer Wizard: added Northstar transfer protocol doc.
21. Resolved issue where application would occasionally hang during startup, while "Configuring Serial Ports"
